Does my data stay private?
Yes. Your reminders, notes, and ledger entries are stored only in local storage on your own device — never uploaded to us or kept in any database we run. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
What does VoiceOrb send to AI, and why?
When you speak or type, that message is sent to Anthropic's Claude API so it can figure out whether you're setting a reminder, writing a note, or logging money — and to pull out the details (amount, category, date, etc.). That's the only reason anything ever leaves your device.
Does VoiceOrb work without an internet connection?
No — understanding what you say happens through Claude's API, which needs a connection. Speech-to-text itself happens on your device, but the actual understanding step needs to reach our backend.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There's no login, no sign-up, and no email required. Open the app and start talking.
Is VoiceOrb free?

Can I use it without speaking out loud?
Yes — there's a text box at the bottom of the screen. Type anything you'd otherwise say, and VoiceOrb understands it exactly the same way.
What can VoiceOrb actually do?
Three things: set reminders (with natural date/time understanding and multiple alerts per event), take voice notes, and track expenses and income in a running ledger — complete with category breakdowns and month-over-month comparisons, just by asking.
What happens if I delete the app?
Everything goes with it. Since nothing is stored on our end, there's no account to close and no data to separately request deleted — uninstalling is the deletion.
Which devices does VoiceOrb support?
